2000s Digital Platemaker
Our high volume customers appreciate the flexibility of the DPM
2000. This hybrid unit generates press-ready plates from digital
files and scans from laser hard copy.
The ability to produce plates from Postscript and PDF files or
Laser CRA at 1200 dpi not only gives you the highest in quality, but
also high volume digital reproduction at an attractive price.
The built-in CCD scanner is one of the most impressive features
of the DPM 2000, not only having the ability to do regional scanning
(text, halftones and screens are all treated as separate objects for
maximum reproduction quality), but also, manual stripping techniques
that were employed in the past are now replaced by an electronic
pen.
