to be California’s premier web-press
facility, TPS is proud to introduce the latest addition to our
arsenal. The Didde Webcom-D 860.
This true “Half-Web” is not only the youngest press on
our production floor, it is also the most efficient. With it’s
22” x 17 1/2” sheet size and 860 feet per minute print
speed, the Webcom allows us to offer medium to large run, high-quality
offset printing at a very competitive price.
As with our Didde DG-175, the Webcom can print 1/1, 2/2, 3/1
and 4/0 on a variety of offset stocks. However, the wide-format
capability
of the Webcom picks up where the DG-175 leaves off by allowing
us to print 8/16 page signatures which cuts production costs
dramatically. (8 page signatures for 8 1/2” x 11” final trim size and
16 page signatures for 5 1/2” x 8 1/2” final trim size).
Used in conjunction with our new DPM2508 CTP platemaker and
our recently acquired Baum 523 folder, TPS can now offer
high quality,
efficiently produced books and manuals at a fraction of the
price normally associated with such work.
